Aloha from Kilby! Well, not exactly Aloha anymore, since I’ve traded the Big Island of Hawaii for Quebec and a whole new adventure. I’m a freckle-faced Pointer mix, and my sister Birdie and I made the long journey north after being surrendered to Action 4 Animals. Sadly, they face the same challenge there that so many rescues do – too many dogs and not enough committed families. I’ve been told that Canada has something called winter. My new friends at the Animatch Centre seem to find this absolutely hilarious. They keep talking about snow, freezing temperatures and something called a “tuque.”…
