About Emery
Emery is a big, handsome black tomcat who had a pretty rough introduction to shelter life, but these days, you’d hardly know it! Emery came to the humane society as one of 33 cats from a hoarding situation. When the time came for the cats to be removed from the home, Emery was understandably terrified and very much did NOT want to leave. The whole experience was overwhelming for him, and he arrived at the shelter feeling quite frightened. Once he had a chance to settle in, however, Emery showed us a completely different side of himself. He is still a nervous guy, but he is incredibly chill…
