Meet Bearnaise (Bear)! 🐾 Bear came to us from a high-kill shelter in California, where he was found as a stray. We braced ourselves for a long decompression period — instead, he made himself at home on night one. He ate his dinner, started counter surfing (a work in progress), and gave us his paw completely unprompted. One of the first things you'll notice about Bear is his eyes! They're stunning and totally one-of-a-kind. His irises don't go all the way around, and one eye is a touch lighter than the other, giving him the most expressive, soulful look.
