Iggy came to us from Camp Chief Hector, where he spent his days playing with the kids and soaking up all the fun camp had to offer. When he wasn’t busy playing, he was apparently busy scavenging to survive—and promptly threw up two small hooves and a fish hook in our vet hospital! Unfortunately, shelter life has been a very different experience for Iggy, and he has become extremely scared and overwhelmed by everything around him. We’re eager to get him out of here and into a calm, patient home where he can decompress, feel safe, and get back to being the happy, playful dog we know he can…
Shelter breed labels are an educated guess from a dog's looks, and they are often wrong. If you adopt Iggy, a DNA test can show the actual breed mix, which helps you plan training, exercise and health checks. See how the two main tests sold in Canada compare.
If Iggy isn't quite the right fit, these dogs are close matches.
