About cat adoption in Prince George

No rescue currently lists adoptable cats directly in Prince George on LocalPetFinder, so this page does the next best thing: it pulls the live adoptable cats from the Kamloops area, roughly 395 km away, into one place for Prince George families, alongside any cats owners list for rehoming in Prince George itself. Listings refresh regularly, and every profile links straight to the rescue or owner to apply.

Adopting from a rescue a drive away is normal in British Columbia: most rescues arrange a meet and greet at the shelter or foster home once your application is in, so you typically make the trip once or twice. If nothing here fits today, the alert below tells you the moment a cat is listed in Prince George or the Kamloops area, and if you need to rehome a cat, you can list them free with Prince George as the location.
