Why Betty Needs a New Home

We took Betty in from a friend who originally adopted her. We were working on co-parenting Betty as our friend was working on getting ready both mentally and physically to have Betty be their companion. Over time, our friend has found that they are not ready to have Betty remain with them, and we were not thinking that we would be Betty's permanent home, and we collectively agreed that we would rather rehome Betty than surrender her back to the SPCA. With her adaptability and highly social personality, I believe that Betty would most certainly fit in with a home that has other cats, visitors, and children. We would also like to include in the adoption all of her accessories and home equipment such as her litter box, water fountain, cat trees and toys.

About Betty

Betty is a very social cat that is very friendly with strangers. I believe she has had minimal contact with dogs, but was surrendered with another cat at our local SPCA. She is very playful and ready to play at a moment's notice. Loves light snuggles and cuddles on her terms and is fine with being picked up and held. She is still in a learning phase with many concepts such gorging due to food scarcity psychology. Was taught how to play gently with hands but in moments of high energy, she will try to claw or bite harder than is nice. Have been working on training for claw trimming and…
