We have ailing parents who live in Quebec, and we did not anticipate the need to be in Quebec so often. We took him on a cross-Canada tour in the car and he did amazing, but we can't keep doing that every time, and we feel that, with us being away this often, it's not good for him. We would love to find someone in Squamish and if wanted, we could be involved in any way needed. Walks, or if you need someone to take him while on vacation, etc....
Alfie is a rescue from Mexico, he was in a shelter, his mom had been hit by a car and the pups were born at the shelter and handfed but the owner of the shelter. The pups all did amazing considering. Pretty sure he is a border collie/lab/ plus some other breeds I'm sure. We fell in love with him when we saw him in Mexico, and we brought him home when he was 4 months old. Alfie is a high-energy dog but definitely has an off switch. As long as he has one big hike or 2 shorter ones, he is calm at home. We are mountain bikers, and he has been an amazing trail dog.
