Why Xena Needs a New Home

I don't trust Xena around small children and am looking to start a family of my own. I also have had some changes to my work schedule and can not dedicate the time she deserves for walks and snuggles. It's a hard decision and she is well loved and cared for, but I want what is best for both of our lives.

About Xena

Xena is a 75lb snuggly, goofy, playful girl. She is happy to cuddle up on the couch with a good movie, or go on a long hike! She plays well alone, is food motivated, and crate trained. Unfortunately, she can get too excited around children and other dogs at times and can scare or injure them unintentionally...that happens when you're such a big girl! Xena is very smart and can learn commands when someone can put time into teaching her. Xena has a fair-good recall. She would excel in a home with no dogs or a more submissive large dog, and no children.
