Lua / Female / 3 years old / 49 lbs / Boxer Mix / Good with calm dogs (male dogs preferred) / Good with cats / Good with older, dog-savvy children / From Mexico / Fostered in Warkworth. Lua’s story started in Mexico, where her mother was found chained to a fence on an empty lot with no shelter. After giving birth to four puppies, local rescue partners stepped in, freed the family, and brought them to safety. One of those puppies was Lua.
