About Axel
Axel came to us very underweight and a little unsure of people. In just his first week at the shelter he began to settle in and his charming personality started shining through. As he’s been gaining weight and recovering, his confidence has been growing as well. While Axel can still be a bit cautious when meeting new people, a few pets are usually all it takes for him to warm up. He’s still learning his leash manners, but he’s making great progress every day. He’s food motivated and eager to learn!
