Why Cookie Needs a New Home

Our family is planning to permanently relocate from Canada to China around June or July 2027. Unfortunately, due to local dog ownership and breed restrictions in the area where we will be living, we will not be able to bring Cookie with us. This decision is not related to any behavioral problems. We are starting the rehoming process early because we want to make sure Cookie has enough time to find a safe, loving, and suitable permanent home.

About Cookie

Cookie is a sweet and gentle Cocker Spaniel with a very good temperament. He is friendly, affectionate, and has no history of biting or aggression. His vaccinations are up to date, and he understands basic commands such as “sit,” “wait,” and “come.” Cookie has cataracts in both eyes, which have caused partial vision loss. He is not completely blind and can still see somewhat, although his vision is limited and blurry. He has adapted very well and is able to navigate familiar surroundings and continue with his normal daily routine.
