Why Raven Needs a New Home

The reason we are seeking to rehome her is because her primary caregivers have experienced a number of health crises and are no longer able to meet her daily requirements. We also have an older cat and the two have incompatible styles of communication. Raven has a high prey drive and while she is not aggressive with the cat she is incessantly curious which is disruptive to the cat's welfare. Because of human health challenges, Raven's physical demands exceed the ability of her caregivers to provide her with consistent mental and emotional stimulation. She is a working breed dog and will not be content left on her own to relax and do nothing. Failure to meet her needs results in frustration and disruptive behaviour so it is best if her new forever family has a primary person who works from home or can spend a majority of the day being active with her. She is a very good girl and will be the perfect companion providing it is the proper fit for her specific requirements to give her the best life possible.

She sleeps in a crate through the night and is…
